What is a vehicle wrap?
Self-adhesive cast vinyl applied to bodywork. Your vehicle becomes a mobile billboard visible to anyone in the street, on the motorway or at the customer's doorstep.
Three formats are common. Partial lettering places logo, phone number and website on the side panels and rear door — the fastest and most affordable route to a branded vehicle. Partial wrap covers selected panels in solid colour with overlaid lettering and graphics. Full wrap covers every visible body panel and lets you change the base colour of the vehicle entirely.
For most Rotterdam SMEs a partial lettering or partial wrap delivers the best return. It is cheaper to produce, faster to install, and still highly visible from a distance. A full wrap makes sense when the vehicle is also the brand — food trucks, festival vans, premium service vehicles, customer-facing fleet.

Fleet wrap and brand consistency
Fleet wrap is a programme, not a one-off project. The goal is a consistent brand appearance across every vehicle, regardless of make, model or year. We start with a master design that defines logo placement, lettering hierarchy and colour relationships. Each new vehicle that enters the fleet is wrapped to the same specification, even years later.
Programme deliverables include: master design file in vector format, brand-consistent colour calibration on every wrap, scheduled production and installation to minimise vehicle downtime, removal and re-application at lease end. For fleets of ten or more vehicles we offer an annual maintenance visit to repair stone chips or small damage.

Process in five steps

- 2. Free digital mockup within 48 hours. We produce a to-scale mockup of the wrap on a silhouette of your exact vehicle make and model. Revisions are unlimited and free.
- 3. Approval and production. After sign-off, the vinyl is printed or cut at our Rotterdam production partners. Lead time three to five working days. A-brand material only (3M, Avery, Hexis, Orafol).
- 4. Workshop installation. You drop off the vehicle at our Rotterdam Zuidoost workshop. Full surface preparation, panel-by-panel application, heat forming around recesses and rivets. We quality-check every edge before handover.
- 5. Two-year warranty and aftercare. Two years on colour stability, adhesion and material defects. If a panel lifts or a colour issue appears, we fix it at no charge. Removal at lease end is available as a service.

Five to seven years for a properly installed wrap using 3M IJ or Avery MPI cast vinyl with laminate, parked outdoors in the Dutch climate. Indoor-parked vehicles often hold colour for ten years or more. Our warranty is two years on colour stability, adhesion and material defects.
Yes, when the original paintwork is intact and the wrap was installed correctly. 3M and Avery cast vinyl is designed for clean removal within seven years. After removal we polish the panels; in many cases the underlying paint looks better than before because the vinyl protected it from UV, stone chips and tar.
Yes. A wrap is fully reversible: the leasing company receives the vehicle back in original paint at end of contract. We recommend partial wraps for short lease terms to limit production cost, and full wraps for terms of three years or more.
Cast vinyl (3M IJ, Avery MPI) is poured and cured: thin, dimensionally stable, conforms to curves and rivets, lasts five to seven years outdoors. Calendered vinyl is rolled: thicker, less conformable, suitable for flat panels, lasts three to five years. We use cast vinyl for all full and partial wraps; calendered is appropriate for flat-panel lettering only.
