Rotterdam municipality requires an Omgevingsvergunning for facade signage exceeding 0.5 m², illuminated signs and signage in protected streetscapes. Lead time six to twelve weeks. We prepare the full application including technical drawings and aesthetic review submission. For heritage buildings we coordinate with the heritage authority.

Yes. We replace failed LED modules in light boxes and channel letters, reattach loose dimensional letters and restore partially damaged vinyl lettering. We first inspect to assess the damage and also work on signage not originally installed by us.
Vinyl lettering one to two weeks. 3D dimensional letters three to four weeks. Light box four to six weeks. Channel letters six to eight weeks. If a permit is required, add six to twelve weeks for the permit process.
For vinyl lettering the facade must be clean and dry; we clean the surface ourselves. For dimensional letters and light boxes we use chemical anchors or expansion fixings depending on facade type. For channel letters, electrical preparation is needed; we coordinate this with your electrician or arrange it ourselves.
PVC for letters up to 30 cm high: lighter, more economical, fifteen to twenty year lifespan. Dibond (aluminium composite) for larger letters and high facades: premium finish, up to twenty-five years. For heritage or listed buildings: bronze or gilt letters produced via certified foundries.
